I think you are in, I would do ED if you are really sure, as the odds are about 10% better. No one is a sure shot for Williams.Nice job, you've worked hard and it looks like it will get you where you want to go! You are a shoo-in for Colgate. Are you planning debate in college?Bates and Cornell have excellent teams as well.

I am most likely going to do ED, I am just having issues coming to terms with the potential finality that goes along with the ED agreement :/
As far as debate in college goes, it is something I would definetely consider. I looked at Bates and REALLY liked it. If I remember correctly they do parli which would be quite fun (despite being a debater I am still an Impromptu speaker at heart!!).
Thanks for your response, it was quite useful!

Good luck Vivienne- I loved Bates, it was a great place for me, but you should follow your own heart. Of course Williams, Yale and Dartmouth are more prestigious.

Yale is so unlike the other 4 on your list-just the prestige, or do you want a big Ivy in a yucky city?Of course, Lewiston is no prize, but the surrounding area is beautiful and rugged.Colgate is TOTALLY in the boonies, and Dartmouth is only slightly less remote. Do you ski?
