I would say low chances. Your activites are very generic, your application overall doesn't seem "wowing." ACT score is not very great for Yale. Sorry kid.

the 300+ hours were done in nigeria in St Ignatius catholic Church would that raise my chances?

I don't know why he said your chances are low. Just because you played basketball instead of underwater badminton doesn't mean your ECs are bland.

I'm not very good at chancing, so I won't. I just don't see why someone would dismiss you so readily.

i know bball is not the most interesting sport, but you guys have to understand that my school is 10 yrs old, with 95 students...there is not much we can do!

^^^maybe include that in your essay and show how you took a leadership role in building a fledgling school.

Honestly - I was immersed in work with Yalies. They're smart people, no doubt. But they're human. On this board people sometimes make it sound like you have to blow rainbows out of your ass to stand out. Just present yourself, your passions, and who you are - if it's a good fit, they'll take you. If not, they won't.

it's possible.
Ivy league admissions are pretty random among people with excellent grades and test scores and outs-of school involvement.
I think you have as good of a chance as any of us.
