Most certainly it was a rejection. If you check on the main Yale page here on CC, many many people have their decisions and most (overwhelmingly) are rejections. Try admits.yale,edu for the decision. That's how I got in at around 4:10 this afternoon.

BTW, if I was going to lie, don't you think I would have come up with a positive outcome?
