Could someone please provide any info or links regarding Yale's Study Abroad program?

Thanks for your inputs.

D did a summer abroad in Paris, and received credit for the courses she took at the Sorbonne. She loved it, but there was no way she would have gone during the school year - she would have missed Yale too much!

She was gone for 6 weeks, the summer after her sophomore year. It was very safe; the program (I don't remember the name, it was not run by Yale, but Yale approved it - I can find out from D if you're interested) housed the students in an apartment-hotel on the Right Bank. Program personnel also lived there, and you had to show ID at the front desk to get in.

She shared a studio apartment with another girl and they had a private bath, a kitchen, free internet access, and amazingly, air conditioning (which is very unusual for France). D walked or took the Metro to the Sorbonne every day and learned how to cook on a recalcitrant French stove.
