last-minute confusion

for the yale supplement, they have room for reporting additional testing.

I've taken the ACT twice. On the main common app form which allows for best scores, I reported my Reading & Writing score from test date #1, and my composite, english, science, and math from test date #2.

I am sending the official score report for test #2, but not for test #1

What I don't get is what I should report on the Yale supplement. Should I fill in my scores for test date #1, even if I partially reported it on the commonapp?

Thanks.

Yale's standardized testing policy requires you to report all scores from either the ACT (with writing) or the SAT (and SAT Subject Tests).

You only have to send one ACT report officially, but you must report both tests. See Yale's FAQ on standardized testing if you have any questions.

thanks for replying!

I know I have to report everything, but I'm confused to how that works when I partially reported scores from two different test dates on the main app.

I think I will just go with the mix+match scores of test date #1 & #2 on the main app + sending in official scores from test #2+ reporting test #1 on the supplement.

Since you only have two different ACTs, I would:

1) Report each date in it's entirety, one per ACT slot, on the supplement

2) Follow the CommonApp's instructions for the Academics section

3) Send an official report for your best test date through ACT.org

I would guess Eastern since that's where Yale is.

I heard that it's by the time zone of the college. So that means that the application is due in about 40 minutes for everyone.

I have a similar question, except with the SAT. I reported all scores through CollegeBoard, but I did not fill out the Yale Supplement Additional Testing section with my bad scores. Is this okay?

As long as they receive all your test scores from College Board or one of your ACTs from ACT with your others self-reported, I don't think they will care too much if you don't report some of your SAT scores unofficially.

I would hurry up and submit the app, though, as you may only have a few minutes if what I heard is correct. Good luck!

Thanks, I already submitted, I was just worried that I left the Additional Testing blank.
