I am (still) in a complete state of euphoria and every time I think of the little song the welcome plays I feel the world is very...surreal
My financial aid is still pending *grrr all that work through the financial aid forms....*
and unless I am accepted to Brown PLME with a comparable scholarship to Yale or Yale makes me pay a ridiculously large amount, I will most definitely be matriculating

Guys if you've been accepted to Yale and its your first choice, dont apply to other schools. You're possibly taking the admission spot away from someone else who wants to attend their "dream college" as well. Its poor form, please dont apply.

And I'm saying this as a junior in HS so im not looking out for myself

^Yeah, I agree. I also think it's a good idea to write a letter of withdrawal to any university to which you've submitted an RD application (if you're certain you're going to Yale).

Did anyone just receive a personalized letter regarding your particular application from Yale in the mail?

I got a letter from the admissions director of my area, he wrote a short letter at the bottom of the note. Was yours like a super personalized one?

It was like yours--I just wanted to see if every early admitted student got one.

Before my acceptance, I wouldn't say that Yale was my first choice; getting accepted, however, made me do some research, and now I couldn't be more excited!

I took the liberty of making the Facebook group for Yale Class of 2016. Feel free to join so that we can all get to know each other a little bit better!

^If that link doesn't work, just search "Yale University Class of 2016"!
