On those notes (@missotisregrets and @icecream6), do you guys think it'd be a good idea to call an admissions officer? Or would that be pushy...?

Unless Jake in post #190 is lying about the WL being closed, what will a spate of calls to the admissions office do? I'd advise against it. I think it's best to just wait for the letter and move on. Unfortunately not enough spots opened up. Best of luck to you in your other school choices.

@T26E4 I agree. My Eli Account status hasn't changed but I don't see why the e-mail would noy be trustworthy. Time to move on. A great hug to all of you!!

OK guys, it is official. I had my counselor call, and the waitlist is closed. We should all receive a letter in the mail soon.

I finally received my rejection letter, though I'm not sadden -- I am relieved to finally receive an official answer. I'll be studying at Brown with hopes of getting into Yale's medical school.

I'm glad to have accompanied y'all through this arduous process.

P.S. For those still waiting for their letters, mine was dated on May 25th and I'm from California.

As much crap as CC gets for being cold and objective, it's been a fun ride with you guys. I'm heading to Rice in the fall, and it should be pretty fantastic!

This was undoubtedly one of the most stressful times in my life, and just seeing everyone's posts, from countdown to Ivy Day to discussions of school to even this waitlist update thread has kept me pretty sane.

Thanks to everyone, and make sure to rock out wherever you go. Who knows. Maybe we'll see Yale in grad school, or maybe we'll be able to send them a nicely worded rejection letter :P

The #10 envelope arrived today. Didn't have the heart to share it with D. After all today was also HS Graduation day!!
