question...please reply

Okay...I am a freshman at Orangeville Jr. Sr. High School. I really want to attend Yale. Here are the classes I am currently taking...my counselor had to pick them out because all freshmen got theirs picked.
My classes are:Small Engines/Physical Education
Physical/ Chemical Science
Spanish I
Health/ Study Hall
Band- (Concert, marching, and pep)
English 9
World History
Algebra I
Like I said, my counselors pick. Any ways there are a few clubs I'm in. They are: F.F.A--Reporter
Church youth group
T.A.T.U
S.A.D.D
I.D.E.A
Academic Bowl--Possible Records
Track
Spanish Club
Library Club
Art CLub
I have 50 community service hours already and I only have to have 36 to graduate. I have a 4.5 gpa. I'm 15% in my class. I want to go to a State college to major in pre-law, and work hard. Then, hopefully, I will make it.

Dude...post in the main forum. I don't get it...do you want to go to Yale College or the state school first? Then how does Yale play in? And you're picking your Junior year classes already? You're still a freshman, rite? Chill out and enjoy your high school years. Do what you love to do, develop your passions. Pick the activities you love now and stick with them thru high school. And take the most challenging classes you can.

15% in your class with a 4.5? Get ahead in the math if you can - take a summer class if you can, so you can take at least 1 year of calculus

Yeah

Yeah..I am picking my junior classes already. I am also picking my senior classes because I feel the best way to succeed is to be prepared. I want to go to a state college first because getting in to Yale first would be hard, especially since my school is so small. I think that maybe state college will help me make it easier. Is going to an ivy league school all people make it out to be? It is my fream well I have to go. Please reply.

P.S. In order to expand my brain power I am reading books that even the seniors say they wouldn't try reading. They are: Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Doestoveski and some of my brothers college books. Bye Bye

I forgot

I forgot to say that the reason I am taking two math courses next year is so I am can have pre-calculus as a senior. I'm also thinking of taking a whole bunch of summer classes so I can take all the classes our school has to offer and maybe more. For advanced chemistry that is the highest the is, but I want to take higher. So I don't know but I am going to try, like I said, to take as many classes that our school has to offer. I'm doing this, like I said, have a better chance at the ivy league.

state school before Yale won't work. no one does that. it has to be Yale for undergrad, otherwise you'll be applying to the law school.
forget the state school if you want to go to Yale College.

You need to give us more info, such as, rank, gpa( W and UW), essays, recs, ec's, etc. We won't be able to give you much , if any at all information. I too by the way am a freshman, and I'm taking the most rigorous courseload possible.

The classes I plan on taking next year are:

Right now, I am only in two clubs:
