Anyone Visiting This Week?

I'm visiting Yale this week (arriving Thursday morning, departing Saturday morning).

I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestions for where to sleep on Th/F nights and what to do. I think finals are this week, so I doubt there's much to do, but I'd appreciate any suggestions. Also, the idea of sleeping in a hotel alone as a 17 year old girl doesn't ease my parents thoughts much. Haha. So, I'd like to do that as a last resort, but I understand if that's necessary, and would like some suggestions for hotels.

Thanks.

Hands -- You've been offered admission off the wait list, correct? Can't you arrange to stay with a current student? Obviously, if students are in the midst of finals, you'll need to be respectful of your host's time, but staying on campus is really the best way to get a feel for the school. I bet your regional admissions rep would help you out with this one. That's why they're there.

Right. I will contact my regional rep. I hope that I wouldn't be too much of a burden for a student with finals, though. I'll see if I can arrange for something. Thanks.

Hands, finals are over! They ended Tuesday - actually, most students will be gone by May 14 as this is when dorms close for everybody but seniors. Your best bet would be to look into anyone involved in Yale internships, summer jobs, or FOOT and other orientation programs still around.
