scores won't keep me out, right?

hi, i like yale =]

(just asking about scores!)

asian girl in nevada (math or engineering major, more excited about math)

SAT
CR: 750, M: 740, W: 800 (2290 total)

SATII
MathII- 800, US Hist- 760, Physics- 720

Your scores are fine. I would worry about making yourself stand out from the crowd now (i.e. good ECs, furthering a passion of yours [music was mine, for example], getting involved outside of school [community service, etc.], and whatnot).

What scores are you worried about? Your scores are fine. They're in the range that gets you considered. You need to work on essays, recs, and show your passion about 1 EC.

I had less than a 2300 but still got in. Your admissions is not based solely on scores.

Think of it this way. Once you get the 2180(??I think??), you're already in the 99th percentile so I dont know how it could hurt to get SAT scores that are lower than 0.005% of test-takers.
