quick question @ all: I've submitted all my forms for SCEA, but my application is still missing one teacher rec... Is it absolutely dire if that reference comes in after Nov. 1st? I'm anxiously waiting for my teacher to submit it, but she's having problems with the Common App system, and she hasn't replied to my e-mails yet...

posted at 11 pm last night. thank god thats done. and yeah feathers im worried about the same thing. My teacher recs + school transcript and things were postmarked two days ago on thursday... will they accept me as a scea applicant even if they dont get everything on time?

Feathers:

Don't sweat it. S had a rec letter come in after Nov. 1 last year and was admitted. Any admission committee needs to allow latitude for this, if only because snail mail letters sometimes are simply lost.

If you think about it, your Eli account in which they communicate the status of your application probably will be available to you (and others applying in the last few days) in about a week. It will only be then when you can see if anything is late, and they'll give you a while to respond if anything is. Stay on top of it until you're sure its been received, but don't panic.

I've actually had the application finished for nearly a month, but I only submitted it yesterday because I was (and remain) eternally convinced that I would discover some grotesque error I had made.

Hi guys! I'm a new guy to this forum, although I've been lurking about. I submitted just today. Lol, I feel like a slacker.

I saw all the stats of the "chance me" threads, and they pretty much depressed me. Ugh, I don't know if I will get in. Oh well, I'm still hoping...

this list makes me feel so behind. I just had a panic attack thinking that the app deadline was today at midnight instead of tomorrow...haven't started my supplement essay yet, whoops
hopefully I can add myself to this list sometime tomorrow.......
