Hi everyone!
I just finished my main essay for Yale, approximately 750 words. Is that too long?
I understand that they put a limitation of 500 words on supplement essay, do they have one for main essay?
How long did you guys write?
I was wondering the same. My Yale supplement is approximately 750 words as well. I have read that a slight stretch of the word limit is not a major concern, but an essay that is too long-winded will likely be unfavored. I could personally not cut anything from mine.
My common app essay is 745 so yeaa haha. From what I've heard 500 is midrange with 750 being a good upper limit. So I guess we're both in the safe zone.
