I spend a lot of time doing research and I published 3 articles in prestigious science magazines and have been conducting research on one specific topic for 2.5 years. For 2 years I have been getting paid/hr I spend in the lab--not much but it is something. Should I list this as an Extracurricular or Work Experience?

Since you got paid, it would be appropriate to put it in work experience.
