Hi everyone, I applied to Yale SCEA and was wondering how I stack up in the ridiculously strong Yale applicant pool.
Here are my stats:
SAT: 2340 (800 cr, 800 math, 740 writing) (single sitting)
GPA: unweighted- 3.91
weighted - 4.488
top 1% of class
AP: Chem-5, APUSH-5, Calc BC-5, Eng Lang-5
Senior Year course load - 6 ap classes
EC's Music- I attend the Juilliard Pre-College program as a composer and have won 4 national composing awards (usually for composers under the age of 30) and have had performances of my music in New York, New Jersey, Memphis. I have received a few commissions from groups ranging from Britain to Tennessee. I also play piano and saxophone. Table Tennis- Member of 2006-2007 national team (u-15). 4 State Championship titles. Consistently ranked top 20 in country and top 2 in state for age group. Sponsored by STIGA from 2006-2008. Academic Awards- US Chem Olympiad highest honors (top 50 in nation). MERCK Scholar in chemistry (1st place in state). NJ Science League first place team and 4th place individual. Score of 4 on the AIME. 106.5 on AMC12. President of school's music club and vice-president of math team. Comm Service- Math Tutoring, Library Book Stacking, Piano performances at old peoples homes.
