4) What do you wish you were better at being or doing?

Nobody said they had to be profound; just be yourself. It's best to be sincere, as long as you feel it best represents you.

Yea, but for a free afternoon don't be like "I'd visit 4chan. The usual."

Similarly, for the free afternoon one, don't say "I'd revise Robert Fagles' translation of The Odyssey, and then write an analytical essay comparing my translation to Dante's Inferno, while also brushing up on Proust."

That's right. Because you have the freedom to write anything: be yourself.

"Profound" as a goal will probably come off sounding preachy or reaching. Like others said, use it as a window to share a snippet about who you are. By design, they aren't looking for anything profound here -- so an attempt will most likely come off as feeble, I would think.

Don't answer the questions according to what you think they want to hear because you're not being yourself that way. Write down the first thing that pops into your head ( I'm sure it won't be organizing a plan to crate world peace). See how that looks. If you think that represents you in a positive light, then go for it.

I said I'd explore my city further if given a free afternoon and wish I cared less about what other people thought of me. Are those answers profound or trivial, or both? Maybe, but it isn't really important. Do they show parts of me that are important that weren't expressed elsewhere in my application? Yep.
