Since its a resume, it shouldn't be that long.

But then again, it depends on what you wrote.

If your activities are all too diverse and over the list, then the resume is not a good thing.

PM me your resume if you want to and I can help you take a look.

Mine was 1 page, 11 font. But I only put important things I did that I didn't mention before on my app since on my transcript, my school lists everything that I've been a part of since freshmen year

so on the resume, we're not supposed to mention what we've already mentioned on the commonapp?

no, you can mention whatever you want. but I wasn't going to waste space on my resume for things that would've been on my app 3 times. (i really wanted it to be only 1 page) so i just mentioned things that were important/diverse

Is a resume necessary?

I actually heard in the info session that they discourage submission of resumes, which is why I didn't include mine...but idk.

mine is one full page size 10, though it was only about my art experience/awards/other related things to go with my supplement. the rest of my ECs fit in the commonapp.

is it recommended to talk about your experience/feelings/stuff like that on your activities or just list them more in-depth than the common app allows?
