We dont do valedictorians because our school is so competitive, but 9 out of the top ten students for class of 2014 went to the university of michigan. The other one went to MSU honors college.

My daughters' high school doesn't rank, but the top 10 students are acknowledged. Of the three I know of, one is going to Princeton, another, USC and the third Berkeley.

    UMBC....

@microssrunner17 If your school is so competitive, why did the 9 top kids go to UMich?? It's definitely a great school, but I'm assuming it's your state flagship....

Valedictorian went to Harvard. Everyone who was ranked in the top 50 seemed to go to one of HYPSM, Chicago, Columbia, Penn, or Berkeley (which is around a hour away from our school).

My class valedictorian, who was a Presidential Scholar, chose Harvard real early on last year. My school sent students to all Ivies (except Brown), UChicago, UC Berkeley, UCLA, etc.
