    By the way--some very elite high schools dont offer APs ....APs do not get anyone into a college. They may be icing on a cake but they dont hurt or help an otherwise stellar applicant.

    @FrontElevation Emory has a holistic admissions application process and your history, even in your high school years, is singular. You don't follow conventional wisdom and take risks. They believe you can contribute something to the Emory community and that you can do Emory level work in the classroom. Good going, but remember that YOU did that and most HS kids aren't raising $125K for hedge funds, starting other businesses or working for the NBA, Emory also has an excellent business school and admissions saw a good fit there for you.
