GPA: 3.99 UW, 4.7ish Weighted
SAT II: 760 Math II, 720 Bio
AP's: (including Senior year, 11 in total)

4's: APUSH, World History, Biology
3's: Chemistry, English Language + Comp.

White Male, New England, no hooks
Major: Neuroscience

EC's: Varsity Tennis Captain (State Finalist Team), Editor-In-Chief of School Newspaper, Hospital Mentorship, Student Council (including Class President 10th grade), ABRSM Grade 9 piano, All-State Rec. Viola, Best Buddies Chapter Treasurer and Peer Buddy, Wildlife Biology Internship

Work: Self-Employed Musician, Tennis Instructor


Rejected: Yale, Princeton(deferred EA), Duke, Pomona
Waitlisted: Georgetown, Vanderbilt, Pitzer (legacy), Tulane, UPenn
Accepted: UMass Amherst, UVM, Boston University, Northeastern, UMiami, and......COLUMBIA

Considering my previous results, I was sooooo shocked to get into Columbia, so I just want to reassure you all that everything about college admissions is unpredictable, so all you can do is try your hardest, make smart choices, and hope for the best.

    Congratulations again, @user_499465! Your record of achievements, esp. your EC's are impressive! I'm surprised by your WL's and predict if you remained on them, you'd get some more acceptances, esp. this year. OTOH, doesn't seem like you need any more acceptances! Well played, applying to a good mix of reach, target, and safety schools. Thanks for sharing, and good luck next year! Hope corona has died down in NYC by fall...
