Wrote about riding the subway to get to my internship in the city. Made it a little humorous throughout essay.
Chose diversity prompt. I feel it was personal but I'm not sure what they will think.
Wrote about how learning Gaelic is important to me because it allows me to keep a close relationship with my family and friends who live in Ireland.
Dual Citizenship, female in science research world?
No connections, subject test scores
**Side note: I have heard that having contacts with a coach really helps in the application process, specifically at Amherst. I would love to continue playing field hockey in college regardless of where I go. Is it too late to make a connection with the coach? Amherst College is an amazing school and I would be so lucky to go. I am trying to do anything I can to enhance my application.
