It says on Amherst's website that decisions will be mailed on April 1st.. Has this been true in the past or do they sometimes send them early?

Last year, the decision was mailed around March 25th.

I remember getting my waitlist letter a week early.

So, in the case of Amherst specifically, decisions are mailed before April 1.

The decisions come via snail-mail don't they? Do internationals get an email as well?

God I hope if they come only by mail at least not by regular mail, in that case I could be waiting until mid-April.

They do e-mail international students. Also, they send decisions letters to admitted intls via express mail. So, if you are accepted you will surely receive your letter just before or just after April 1st.

Okay thanks. I hope I'll get something via express mail around April 1st then.
