Emailing the Amherst admissions office

for info has not worked.
I sent my email two weeks ago and they still haven't replied.
Is this normal??

    It won't cost more than a couple of dollars...

    From my experience, it's normal if they take weeks to reply, or don't reply at all... so it's best to call.

    ... but I believe that the office is closed from now till mid-January, so no point calling them yet...

    My D has emailed them and gotten fairly quick replies (within two days). They are probably just on break.

    My son is a sophomore there and we have never had any luck with replies to email. Not when he was applying and not since then even to other administrative departments in the college. We either don't get a reply or else get one after a very long delay. I'd phone if it's important that you get information in a timely way. (Everything else about Amherst is splendid though!)

    I think they're on break. Try again later or call - if it's really that important.
