Has anyone gotten a 5 on:

AP Calc AB
AP Calc BC
AP Physics B

AP tests, but we're getting C's and D's in your class in your high school?

I know a student with a C+ in Calculus BC both semesters and a 5 on the AP test.
I know a student with a C and a B in Physics B and a 5 on the AP test. Similar story for AB Calculus.
However, it's hard to imagine a student getting a D in the class and a 5 unless they were extremely lazy in class and never did the homework/etc, but then studied hard for the AP test and somehow pulled it off. However, I don't know why anyone would do this, as keeping one's grades out of the C and D range is far more important than getting a 5 on the AP test.

I got a 5 on AP Physics B. In the actual class, I failed about 3 tests throughout the year but I finished the year with a 93.

Grades in an AP Class are often (but NOT always) a good indicator of how you will do on the AP exam.
