Hi CC'ers, I am taking AP European History online. I need to get a textbook soon! Which one is considered the best?

A History of the Modern World (Palmer, Colton, Kramer) 9th Edition

A History of Western Society (John McKay) Boston: Houghton Mifflin. 2006

Or Others?

If you're taking an online class, why do you need a book? Is the course material not sufficient?

At any rate, your post title is misleading, which might be why you're not getting useful responses. (I just clicked on it to tell you to take Compsci instead of Euro.)

I don't know anything about the second one, but I believe Palmer is supposed to have all the information you need and maybe even more than you need for the AP Euro exam.
