Anyone got tips for preparing for AP German?

My school's got a pretty poor foreign language department and I am not excellent with languages. I am, of course, aiming for a 5. So far, I've been listening to the radio in German every day for a few weeks--it has helped some.

If you like rock from the '80s then get some songs from a band called Die Aerzte (A-umlaut) Then listen to the songs a few ten times and then eventually search for the lyrics. It helps me learn new vocabulary, and also the pronunciation of "everyday German" and not the German the teacher deliberately annunciates clearly.
