For those of you self-studying...

... How do you manage your time between regular classwork and self-studying? Especially for those of you taking full course loads (4+ APs and all honors, etc.), when do you study on your own?

Do you study every night or only on weekends? Is it cutting into your schoolwork study time? What's your basic study plan for the week?

Basically, I want to know if it's worth self studying another course in addition to an already rigorous courseload.

I have no [social] life, so I have time on weekends or even on weekdays. :/

That, and my teachers don't really give a lot of homework.

I'm going to be honest. I'm taking 5 APs and am supposed to be self studying Micro/Macro and Gov't/comp Gov, but I don't study at all. I'm not going to sacrifice my life for the sake of AP exams. Screw that.

Well, I'm self-studying bio, sorta, haha.
I suck at time management, but I usually do the studying on the weekends, but sometimes my weekend labs cut into my study time.

I think self-studying would be worth it if you are good at time management and are truly interested in it, otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

Most schools split classes up the following way:

Standard (Basic intro courses/less rigorous advanced level courses)
Honors/Gifted (Harder intro courses/Advanced courses below intermediate college/Intro community college course)
    AP/IB/Advanced College courses

I didn't study for my 2 self studies until 2 weeks before the AP exam. Needless to say those two weeks were really crappy.
