AP Stat in 10th grade self study?

I'm a freshman taking Algebra II Trig, so I am capable of advanced math. Next year, I want to take the AP Stats test as a sophomore simultaneously with Pre-Calculus.

I can only take one AP class as a sophomore in my school - AP Government/Politics. In 11th and 12th grade, I will take IB classes and get my IB dimploma. However, I want to take as many AP classes that I can handle.

I've heard self-studying AP stat is one of the easier AP classes.

Should I go for it and self study next year?

Also, next semester (I'm on block) I can take either Earth Science or Physics. Earth Science is a joke, everyone gets A's and all 9th graders take it. However, my school is giving me permission to take Advanced Physics (A 12th grade class) as a freshman instead. Is it hard? The teacher is not that great either. Should I go for it, or get the easy A in Earth Science?

AP Statistics - it's not like algebra 2, precalculus, or calculus since it's not mostly computational. Most of it is really analysis and reasoning. Some people say that you have to have common sense when studying for the exam.

Advanced Physics - is it anything like AP Physics B?

Take Earth Science. If you wind up with a bad teacher in Advanced Physics, you will end up having to learn all the material on your own.

Stat is unbelievably easy for someone who is good at math, but then again: why???

Take AP Stat. It is easy to understand and there are plenty of good practice problems and review books to get you ready. If you've taken Algebra II, you should be more than ready for it.

I definitely feel as though AP Stat would be easier to self study AFTER having taken Pre-Calculus. I found that many of the concepts were the same, only stat has last calculations and more analysis. I would hold off a year on self-studying, though it is definitely do-able.
