ASU Barrett or U of A Honors College for Aspiring PA?

alord1234alord1234 Registered User Posts: 17 New Member
I am an Arizona resident and am having such a hard time choosing. I have heard great things about Barrett but also that U of A is a better "pre med" school. I really have no idea. I have visited both and I am somewhat turned off by ASU's campus but that is not a big deal. U of A is beautiful, but I really just want to go wherever has the best academics and opportunities for me going into the medical field. HELP

I am also having to make a similar decision (I want to become a doctor). I have found so far that ASU has a much better honors college than UA's and that the notion of UA being a "pre med school" is no longer that true. ASU is establishing programs with mayo clinic (maybe even med school) and the fact that Phoenix has so many more opportunities might make ASU a better choice. That being said though, they are both good for in-state and you can't go wrong with either.
