What are my chances?

I made a few bad choices my sophomore year which led my GPA to drop to a 2.8 (out of state) my SAT is 1880, and. I have a few extra curriculars. What are my chances for ASU business major?

You should apply anyway, and maybe prepare and take your SAT / ACT again if you've only taken either of them only once. A good amount of students get into ASU (another major or college), and once they meet the requirements with grades can transfer into WP Carey. Getting in should not be the most difficult (ASU focuses on providing greater access to get in), but once you are in, excelling in WP Carey takes work and taking advantage of the many opportunities open to you. Those who can do this have great career options afterward.

WPC has higher admissions requirements for students so you might have to go into an exploratory or undeclared major to prove you can handle the workload (college is stressful, but scheduling your own classes is a plus) and transfer in to wpc. But, I always suggest having a backup major in your mind. Also it never hurts to try! You'll never know if you'll be accepted or not unless you try!
