Lauren's First and Goal

Any opinions on this camp from people who have attended? Son is looking into it as a way to be seen by a fair number of Patriot and NESCAC schools. Any one have any info on how seriously the coaches who are there take it, or how well it is run? Seems like it could be a zoo? FYI, NE Elite is not an option for him as we are from Ohio and therefore can't do padded camps. Thanks in advance.

Lauren's First and Goal is huge (at least it is at the PA location), There are actually buses that drop off off entire teams at the camp. My S went as a rising junior (it was his first camp), and it was good in the sense that he learned what to expect at future camps and got to meet some coaches. However, since he was only a junior and there was literally over a thousand campers there, I can't really say he made critical contacts there.

If you are going to the Ohio one, my recollection is that is a smaller camp, and may actually be more useful in terms of making contacts. For what's it worth, to get noticed by the NESCACs, I would contact those coaches directly with film, transcript and test scores.
