Men's Rowing Recruiting Guide?

RandomRowerRandomRower Registered User Posts: 9 New Member
Anyone have a guideline in terms of which schools to look at that will recruit male rowers, when to start reaching out, rough deadlines, good times, ect?

If I'm a borderline lightweight (comfortable at 150-155 but also comfortable at low 160s), would it be more beneficial for the recruiting process to stay light, or bulk up?

Academic stats for schools to look at would be nice too.

Check out the extensive thread already started by @wykhamist "recruited rowing class of 2017". Plenty of info there.
Your first move is to start a list of schools with programs that interest you and fill out online questionnaire on the team's web page. You can also introduce yourself to the HC via email.

If you are a sophomore you can always start by filling out the online questionnaire and updating interested coaches via email as you progress.
