Anybody at bard/parents of Bardians have perspectives?

henrywinterhenrywinter Registered User Posts: 35 Junior Member
I just got into Bard IDP. I really like it from what I've seen, and it's one of my top schools. I just have heard some things about the community (cliques, unfriendliness, pretentiousness) that have dissuaded me a little, and I'm wondering if anyone has some up-to-date perspectives on the people and the experience.

Thanks so much, I appreciate it!

Congratulations on your acceptance! I am the parent of a current first year Bardian, who is so far very happy w/his experience, both socially and academically. He brought a group of new friends home for a weekend, and they were a smart, fun, down-to-Earth group w/a variety of backgrounds & interests. His professors have been/are amazing. I think if Bard speaks to you, trust your instincts; the opportunities there are terrific.
