Brooks Residential College

Hey guys, I'm an incoming freshman and I've been assigned to Brooks College at Baylor University. However, when choosing it as my preference, I did not to think to look up the freshman ratio in the dorm. For my first year, I really want to get to know a lot of freshman, and now I'm worried that won't experience that. Has anyone lived in Brooks College during their freshman year? And if so what was the experience as a freshman?

I lived in Brooks as a freshman last year and am returning this year! You have nothing to worry about as far as freshmen ratio--freshmen far outnumber upper classmen with sophomores the second highest percentage. Brooks isn't perfect and the two year contract is definitely a drawback--however, I've found that Brooks helps freshmen develop friendships and get connected better than typical dorm situations.
