College Life at Baylor

I will be attending Baylor this coming fall and I was wondering if anybody knew what it's like out there in Waco.

I went to Baylor years ago but don't think that Waco has changed much. Kind of provincial and boring, frankly. Most kids hang on campus and there's not much night life if that's your thing. No major concerts or theater. Lots of Greek life stuff. Best restaurant in town is Kitoks (Korean/hamburger mash-up place). My son was accepted and may very well attend. Hey, Dallas and Austin aren't too far away.

Congrats on the admission! My son attends Baylor (pre-med) and loves the university. He's getting a great education with the small classes and the engaging professors. Waco itself is nothing great but there are a lot of opportunities to volunteer / job shadow if you're interested. His favorite part about Waco is the warm weather during the school year (when we're getting snow, he's wearing shorts).
