I'm a rising 12th grade rn
GPA unweighted 3.8
Idk weighted, but I take all honors, and an average of 2 APs per year
I played JV lacrosse 2 years
I will play varsity football one year, but probably after my app is finished cause it's in the spring, plus it's my first year
I did band 3 years
Do I have a decent chance?

I got 2 threes and 1 four on my AP tests so far
I took the PSAT and got a 1400 on that, but haven't taken SAT yet I think it's test optional this year

You need to take your SAT/ACT soon, can't really judge on your chances without knowing your standerlize test score. It depends on which schools you are applying to as well, Qst and Com will be harder than CAS and SHA.

Personally I got in with a 1370 on SAT and 3.6 uw GPA but it was two years ago(I also wrote a pretty good PS on Why BU). If you manage to get anything close to a 1400 on SAT I'd say you have an excellent chance in getting into BU.

My personal guess: It is worth applying as long as you can afford it -- run the NPC if you are not okay with being full pay. I would say "not a safety".

As long as you are also applying to two affordable safeties, I think that it is worth an application.
