Hey, i really love BU and i applied to CGS just to make my chances better, if you could please tell me what you think that would be great, im super freaking out!

Basically my stats are as follows:

Overall GPA:3.66

Very Tough courseload all Ap's or Honors classes..no electives, i substituted for science classes. (Pre-Med intended)

Student council -4 years
Snr Yr: Executive Board President
Jnr/soph Yrs: Class Delegate
Frsh Yr: Class Treasurer
Yearbook -2 years
Snr Yr: Editor In Chief
Jnr Yr: Staff writer, photographer
SADD -3 years
Snr Yr: Executive Board Secretary

School Recognition:

*"student" of the Month: One student from the entire sutdent body is elected as "Student" of the month. Basically is a studnet who exhibits academic exellence as well as very high involvement in either ec's or athletics.

*Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Representative
Once again only one sophomore is chosen from the class to represnet the school at a weekend long leadership conference.

*Children Of Abram Representative
One of four students chosen to represnet our school at an inter-faith meeting with high school students around the state.

*Summer Discovery programs

Community Service:

400+ hours of community service with various institutions.

    if u wanna be premed u really shouldnt have applied to cgs. oh well, too late now. with the exception of ur act score, i would think u wouldve been fine for cas. i think u made a mistake though, even if u didnt get into cas u wouldve been considered for cgs, it doesnt make your chances better.

    i actually just got an email back from the admissions office and i changed it to CAS. so hopefully, it will all work out. but what do you think my chances will be even so?

    Your ACT is a bit low, but don't let it discourage you. :)
    You have a nice GPA and loads of ECs.

    Just a question: why is the "student" in "student of the month" is quotations? It throws me off a bit... it's as if you're implying that the "student" is not really a student. I don't get it. :/

    lol it was a mistake. it was supposed to say "student of the month". thanks everyone, any other opinions would be fantastic, im super worried!
