How many students apply early at brown? How many get accepted? What is the acceptance rate for Early Decision at Brown?

Last year's numbers, via the Brown Daily Herald:
Brown admitted 567 early decision applicants this year — just under 20 percent of the pool of 2,847 — according to Jim Miller '73, dean of admission.

This year's numbers were roughly the same for applicants.

Be aware that this number is inflated by recruited athletes and should not necessarily be taken as a sign that applying early increases your chances.
