Hi, guys, I'm a junior in high school right now. I want to be chanced early in case there is anything you guys would suggest I improve this year and next year before I apply to Brown. I have always wanted to go to Brown and I want my chances to be as high as possible, so please help and don't automatically dismiss me just because I am only a junior. I really want all the advice I can get. Thank you!

Class Rank: 2 or 3/84
GPA: 4.72 weighted

Freshman Year Course Load (hardest possible)

Sophomore Year Course Load (hardest possible)

Junior Year and Senior Year Course Load:
IB English HL
IB Math HL
IB Spanish HL
IB Biology HL
IB Latin SL
IB History SL
IB TOK

I am an IB Diploma Candidate, and the IB Diploma Programme is a two-year program, which is why I have the same classes junior and senior year.

Activities:
Varsity Basketball (since freshman year)
Varsity Track and Field (since sophomore year)
Latin Club (since freshman year, co-president since sophomore year)
Key Club (Programs Committee Chair since freshman year, running for Lieutenant Governor of my division in March)
Science Club (since sophomore year)
High School Quiz Show Team
National Honor Society (inducted sophomore year, running for president in spring)
Tutoring at homeless shelter (since freshman year)

Summer:
I did a month-long paid internship at a Harvard lab the summer after my sophomore year on using stem cells to cure Type I Diabetes. This summer I might be working at a summer camp I used to attend for a month and then doing another month-long internship on using stem cells to cure cancer.

Awards:
Not a lot really. No major ones at all. History Student of the Year (highest average), English Student of the Year (highest average), Math Student of the Month (freshman year), Latin Student of the Month (sophomore year). High honors (no grade lower than A-) first two years of high school. I may get more this year and next year, but I cannot say for sure.

Ethnicity: African American
Gender: Female
Family Income: <100,000 (will be decreasing soon because my mother is going back to school full-time)
Residence: Massachusetts
Hooks: Uh...URM?

Thank you to anyone who gives me advice!!
