Cost of Greek Life?

Does participating in greek life cost money at Brown?
If so, how much? Does it vary by fraternity? Is it billed by semester? annually?

Varies by fraternity. For the one I was in, it was never more than $200 a semester. I'm sure that it's much more for others. It's going to be less than many schools, because you aren't paying to live in the house - all Greek life is on-campus, just in separate dorms with a bit more social space.

Mine was $300/semester. I think the most expensive house was ~500/semester. Ours was due at the beginning of each semester but we would do payment plans for people who couldn't afford the full amount at the beginning.
