You're in a really tough demographic, Asian male STEM, I'd put your chances around 2-3%, so if Brown is your first choice, apply ED and EA to PSU, Michigan. Your hs/gc should have more information on how students like you have done wrt admissions. Here in the bay area for your profile, most get in to Brown via ED, but to be fair I only know a couple over last few years so it's not a lot of data. If Brown in not your first choice, then you may have a slightly better shot at a place like Penn, and pretty good chances at places like BU, Northeastern, Drexel, Pitt, Rochester.

    theloniusmonk,

Appreciate the advice, but probably won't ed because I am trying to save money for my brother who will also be going to college a year after me and my own grad school expenses without burdening my parents. I definitely understand now that my chances are not great, but I'm still going to put my best effort into my essays and hope I have some luck on my side :). Good luck to you too with your college apps if you are a senior as well!
