brown retains its spot on the list of happiest students for the third year in a row
http://seventeen.princetonreview.com/schoollist.aspx?type=r&id=712&uidbadge=%07

also ranked for among the best college radio and theater, and for having a conscience

most of these rankings are obviously subjective, but i'd like to think these characterize brown pretty well

What? I thought rankings were meaningless? Oh wait, that only applies to the USNEWS rankings right? The one with a MORE objective methodology?

    who said rankings were meaningless?

i said above that they are subjective. granted, PR may be the most subjective of all. PR, if nothing else, is a barometer of widely held stereotypes

gosh, you just can't win with him.

if we say something good about brown, he'll try to deny it.
if we say something bad, he'll support it.

honestly, sure princeton review is not that credible, but it still is an example of a ranking. just as much as USNWR.

Anyways, Brown deserves that spot. It is a VERY Happy School.

funny, my old school, tulane is on there

when i was there, people were not happy. unless they were too drunk to not be happy

i lot of people loved it, but a lot of people hated it. it was not one of the top 10 happiest schools.

maybe a lot has changed, or maybe it just goes to show you flawed methodology....pr asks some small group of skewed responders and that's how they get their data...or something

or maybe the people you hung out with just didn't like it there? if you transferred because you didnt like it chances are you're more likely to know other people who didn'lt enjoy it as well. my friend who goes to tulane loves it and says almost everyone she met loves being there, and likewise I know people here who probably would have been better suited to other schools. you can't judge an entire school just based on the small demographic you personally know

actually i knew a ton of people. i wasn't friends with all of them, but i knew a ton of them. and my friends mostly liked / loved it

granted, i didn't hang otu with the greeks that much who i think like it more

but like i said, some people loved it whereas a shocking number of people did not, as compared to brown, where it is rare to find someone who does not like it.

This was also 4 years ago and pre katrina.
