I'm applying RD and I've had straight As until this semester with two Bs. How much will it hurt me?

It will likely not hurt you, as Bs are fine. However, don't let it drop too much. Schools will ask for your final transcript, and if things really tank, they have been known to rescind, in rare situations, or to require remedial work over the summer. Not saying that will happen, just FYI.

Are there any differences between B+ and B or are they all looked at equally.

I'm in the same situation as you. I've had straight a's but this last semester got two B+'s. I would guess it won't make a huge impact on us, and I know the occasional B doesnt matter much, but I just worry that since we've both had all A's until now it will look like we suddenly started slacking (which isn't true on my end at least).

I think the best thing is to not worry about it to much, as I doubt it will be the swaying factor.

Of course my situation is slightly more grim being a deferred ED applicant...

    A B really isn't that bad...

    I got a C in Calc :(
But the rest of my grades are A's :)

    Bittersweet.

    * i know this is an old thread but I didn't bother to start a new one.
2 B's so far this senior year not a result of senioritis hehe. How much does this hurt? especially if my grades were on a steadily rising trend. I just dont want colleges to think that i suddenly started slacking cause that's not the case.

CP: what kinda answer are you expecting? Is NOT having two Bs better than having two Bs? Of course. Is a 4.0 > than a 3.96? Sure. How much will it affect you? Prolly not a lot if at all. But tell me who can know. You're asking for an unknowable answer. Ultimately, relax.
