OSU (Fisher)/VT (Pamplin)/Indiana (Kelley)

I have to choose between these schools as an accounting major. I am a VA resident and didn't get into UVA. These are the options I am considering.

Do you think I should pay to go out of state, if so which for accounting?

Spend another year at CC and apply to UVA again?

Or go to VT for 10 grand a year.

Thank you

Spend a year at a VCC, maintain a good GPA and transfer to UVA. Getting in UVA as a transfer, especially if you went to a VCC, is a lot easier.

Yeah, spend a year at VCC and then apply to UVa and Kelley again. If you get into Uva go for it, otherwise go to kelley.

I don't think it's really that important where you go for accounting. The curriculums are pretty standard around the nation and the big accounting firms recruit at most large universities.

I say go to CC and try to get into UVA. If you still don't get into UVA, go to VA Tech if there is a huge cost discrepancy. If there isn't a huge cost discrepancy go to the place which is the "best fit" for you.

As long as the big 4 recruit at the school, it really doesnt matter where you go. I dont think the big 4 recruit at VT...Uva and kelley are both better options.

ok thanks guys, in HS i took a college course at the local CC and got a C in it. Otherwise, I would have a 3.8... I'm going to retake it..
