This fall 2007 semester I will be attending IU's Kelley School of Business as a freshman and would like to have a 3.5+ GPA at the end of my freshman year. If by the end of my first semester I make the grades I strive to make and want to attend a more prestegious program (Stern, Ross, McIntire) do you think I would have a chance? I'm just curious as to how a IU GPA looks upon transfering. I had a 29 ACT score and a 3.5/3.8 GPA at a competitive high-school (demanding schedule). I'm not sure what all they want to see (high-school and college transcripts, test scores, and resume etc.)?. I have always done well in terms of writing (12/12 ACT writing and well in english), so I'm not worried about essays. Would it be better to transfer and come in as a junior? I hate to ask about transfering when I haven't even had a class at IU, but I'm interested in knowing what it might take to transfer to a more prestigious program. Thanks!
