Northeastern College of Business Administration

Although I want to transfer, I have decided to give Northeastern a shot and will be attending the CBA this fall and was wondering if anyone can give me any insight on the school? In academics, student life, etc.

Will the classes there prepare me well enough to transfer into Wharton or Georgetown's Undergrad Business?

im entering the cba next year too. it seems like a great business program, but i hear it is very difficult to transfer from a university to another university, especially if want to transfer to those schools

check their websites , they list everything

but from what I hear, it is harder to transfer in then it is to apply as a senior

good luck and try to keep your grades near a 4.0

Yeah, I've been reading a lot about transferring and I know it is pretty difficult.

But, my main concern is the level of academics at Northeastern. I've been hearing mixed opinions on the school-- like, "it's an ok school" or "it's a good school".

I know the requirements for transferring to Wharton or Georgetown, but what I meant was in terms of education quality, will it prepare me?

Good luck at CBA next year. I spent there my freshman year and will be transferring to NYU Stern in fall. I think that cba is a good school - small classes, experienced professors, and most importantly for transfers: it's not that hard to get a 4.0.

The reason I'm transferring is simply because of Stern's reputation (I'm a finance major). Personally, international reputation is a big factor for me since I'm an international student who is not planning on staying in the US after graduation. But that's just me. If I was a local kid (as many CBAs are), I would have found no reason to transfer out. In terms of academics, it seems like CBA is taken seriously since all of my courses taken at CBA are transferable to Stern.
