Pre-Med Finance Majors?

I am a rising freshman in college and plan on majoring in Finance. My goal is, however, to go to medical school so I am taking all the prerequisites. I was wondering if there were any others who plan on going pre-med but majoring in some sort of business field?

I do know that Medical Schools do look for students who aren't in the traditional bio, chem, biochem pre-med majors. I think they like people to explore a field they are interested in. I'm not an expert on medical school admissions (try the med school forum?). However, I think the admissions people would think well of you because you might be interested in a more administrative role after graduating rather than just being a doctor and saving lives. I don't know. This is my hypothesis.

Just get good grades and do well on your MCATs.
