I am currently a freshman majoring in Accounting. I want to pass/fail my macroeconomics class since my professor stopped teaching once we went online and I am not doing well. Would it be bad to do this? I need to know by tomorrow.

It is better to take the class P/NP than for a grade rather than a bad grade showing on your transcript. Also during this time of COVID 19, many schools offer the P/NP option. Some schools may have a footnote that the semester or quarter is during the COVID 19 pandemic. The admission office will understand these stressful times.

I would talk to your advisor first. My D was told not to take a P/NP for a course required for her major.
