...what should I do during undergrad? I'm going to Columbia, and I'm thinking of doing the combined poli sci/econ major. I've been hearing a lot of people say that as long as I do well at the school I'll have plenty of job opportunities come senior year, but that answer seems a little to fluffy to me. I have a friend who graduated from Yale a few years ago who said that a lot of her friends who took easy classes there and got 4.0's are now at great law schools. I guess my question is whether Columbia's prestige and a very high GPA will be worth more than a the prestige with a lower GPA in more difficult courses. Thanks in advance.
