I'm a transfer student applying as an Urban Planning major for admission in the fall 2012. Do I have a chance of getting in?

Well would it make any difference if I applied with a 3.2 but after this fall is done my gpa will be 3.11? Does my spring semester count in any of this?

Urban Planning is not impacted and a 3.1 for a transfer is decent. I think you have a good chance. BTW, you should read up on Michael Woo, the dean of the College of Environmental Design. He was in the LA City Council and ran for Mayor more than a decade ago. He's quite a character and very active in the city planning scene. He will take the Planning program and ENV college far....
