    Do you have to live in their designated area to get in? Tier 1 high schools? The policy on their website looks very strict if you don't live near the school.

    I heard if you have a good GPA and high SATs you can get in. It's easier to get into than CPSLO.

    yes it is easier to get into the pomona branch of cal poly compared to the other campus. but particularly for students within its service area. that means students from academically weak pomona high schools are admitted over students with better records from great high schools in the bay area. each CSU has a service area. it may not seem fair but that's the way the system works.
